NOTICE OF TEMPORARY VOTING SITE

EARLY VOTING BEGINS FEB 23, 2023, THRU APRIL 3, 2023.

THE DEWITT COUNTY CLERK’S OFFICE WILL BE THE TEMPORARY VOTING SITE FOR EARLY VOTING. HOURS ARE MONDAY THRU FRIDAY FROM 8:30AM TO 4:30PM (EXCLUDING HOLIDAYS). EXTRA HOURS FOR EARLY VOTING WILL BE: TUESDAY, MARCH 7, 2023 FROM 8:30AM TO 5:30PM - SATURDAY, APRIL 1, 2023 FROM 9:00AM TO 11:00AM. 

ABSENTEE VOTING WILL ALSO TAKE PLACE DURING THE SAME HOURS AS EARLY VOTING AND HAVE THE SAME ADDITIONAL DAYS/TIMES AS EARLY VOTING. ABSENTEE VOTING WILL ALSO TAKE PLACE IN THE COUNTY CLERK’S OFFICE. THE COUNTY CLERK’S OFFICE ADDRESS IS 201 W WASHINGTON STREET, CLINTON IL 61727 AND THE PHONE NUMBER IS 217-935-7780.

NOTICE : Legislators have recently passed HB3878 which increases the Rental Housing Support Fee by an additional $10.00.
The increase affects recording fees in all 102 counties throughout the State of Illinois and will take effect July 1, 2023.

Vital Statistics includes: birth, death and marriage records. Birth certificates may only be obtained by the mother or father listed on the Certificate, legal guardian or by the child if the child is 18 years of age. Photo ID is required to obtain a birth record. Birth records begin in 1878.

Death records begin in 1878. Death certificates may be obtained by any party with a legitimate interest
